Another photo from Skógafoss, one of the largest and most popular waterfalls in Iceland. The figures standing near the falls help add some scale to this one though they are standing some distance from the front of the waterfall, you can see how much spray is being generated by the water, standing too close means a complete soaking! The place is teeming with birds, you can see them as white dots along the cliff face but the long exposure made the birds in flight disappear.
This is shot with a 200mm prime lens using a ten-stop ND filter to achieve an 8 second exposure during daylight. It is made up of four individual frames combined like a panorama in Photoshop.
I'd recommend viewing this one on a black background.
