Jokulsarlon is a glacial lagoon situated at the front of the Vatnajökull glacier in Iceland. The lake contains hundreds of icebergs that have broken off from Vatnajökull's 'tongue' Breišamerkurjökull. It is one of the most spectacular sights in Iceland, a country full of natural wonders.

Wow!!! As if I was there!
By the way, I'm curious how do you carry your gear, if you don't mind sharing. Thanks

Thanks again!
James, I usually use a smallish Crumpler shoulder bag with inserts. I don't think you can buy it any more but it's called (with typical Crumpler irreverence) the "Long Schlong". I love Crumpler bags and own a few, they've all lasted for years.
For the trip however I was going to be carrying 6 lenses and 2 bodies so needed something bigger. I also wanted a backpack for that much gear, and some additional space for non-camera stuff so I could take it on walks and on flights. There are a ton of camera backpacks but annoyingly few of them have a separate space for personal items. In the end I bought a Kata 3in1-33, which can be setup as a backpack or a 'swing' bag with two easy-access side openings to pull your camera straight out without exposing the other gear. It also has a top-opening section for general items and a sleeve for a laptop (my 15" one was fine, I think it might hold bigger). It held all my camera gear, plus a couple of hard drives and assorted items in the top. I added a tripod 'sling' to carry my Manfrotto 190cx with a three-way head. I didn't carry the tripod on the bag too often but when I did it was fine, though the specs say it's only meant for compact tripods.
Overall it performed very well. I think the longest I carried it for a single stretch was five hours. It was comfortable and I never had any problems reaching the stuff I needed. No problems getting it on flights either, although I'm glad no one weighed it because I'm sure it was over the allowed 10kg.
There's a video of one (not mine) in action here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oif3OhDRNf8
