Sabby, I use a Canon 5d mk2 and had an 85mm prime and a 17-40 zoom with me. Lugging a tripod around all night was a pain but it certainly helped!
I really love that second shot. I think it's really tough to use blur in a way that creates the image all by itself. But you'v really achieved that here: that moment is captured in the blur - the emotion, mood and magic. Gorgeous.
