Interesting thingies!? Looks like a new park in a new industrial area/business park?

It's floaters used for fishing. But they're a bit upscaled! :D Cool shot. :)

yea looks like what some call "Bobbers" used towards the end of fishing line.

I tried to use something like this for fishing, but these things are little bit bigger :)

The CN tower looks like one fishing thingie too. They should have more water ripples in the concrete tile patern,so it would look more as they were floating i think.

Never heard that park. I like the way you did your composition, we can can still see the tall building in the background.

I think the concept of modern art has a lot to answer for. Not maligning your shot, Miles, it's probably as fine a shot as can be taken of this subject. But, (wincing) those colourful dagwood dogs... a visual nightmare.

If you don't like 'em blame Douglas Coupland :)

I do, lol. I blame him roundly.

But hey, it's not my backyard ;)

I think they are kind of interesting pieces. I rode my bike into that park last weekend and it is totally complete and ready to go - there were a few people there, but most likely others (true Torontonians) were deterred by the "No Trespassing" signs; such followers. Another example of bureaucracy stifling common sense. I hope, with all the urban density sprouting and the communities thriving in the core that we see more public green spaces, because they will make the difference between neighbourhoods and sleeping warehouses.
