Shooting in a snowstorm isn't really all that challenging, but the forecast says snow with rain...that can create problems especially with trying to prevent your lens from getting wet.

Miles, have you ever done macros of snowflakes? I don't know, maybe it's not cool photography, but I'd love to see some if you have time and inclination. It's something we don't get to examine over here. =)
Of course, general snow storm pics will be lovely, all the same..
Haunting and gorgeous. I really love the use of blur to intensify contrasts and mood, and I think you've hit it bang-on here - well, at least for me. This is one of the more exciting shots I've seen in a good while :)
