The complimentary colors of yellow and violet really make this image. They appear throughout the entire photograph: in the umbrellas, the highlights and shadows in the snow, the sun's reflection on the clouds, and in the benches. Where is this photograph taken? It is beautiful. I like the oxymoron idea of a snowy beach that "beyond bluestockings" mentioned. It's rare to see such. The depth of field is a major factor in making this photo successful. It almost appears to go back into endless space. Lovely.
