It was freezing cold when I took this, 'wind chill' temperatures down in the -30s, and there was a lot of water vapour coming off the lake out where it was deeper. That's what is softening the horizon so much.
I like the simplicity and the wide range of subtle colours (even though it seems that there isn't much variety at first). Very peaceful.
I just found your blog while following links from wandering around the web. I really like your site and your work. What is it about Toronto and photography? I just realized by looking at your work that you are in Toronto - so am I.
