Breaking Dawn - Canon 40d w/10-20

I took this on a freezing cold pre-dawn outing to Woodbine beach yesterday. The image is made up of two exposures, one for the foreground (20 secs, f/22, iso100) and one for the sky (8 secs). I had 2 ND8 filters on the lens and shot bracketed exposures. I used a new feature of Photoshop CS4 called "content aware scaling" to increase the height of the sky a little to get the balance I wanted.

It was about -14, or -23 with the wind chill. Thanks to Chris for the lift!

Wonderful - the tonal range is dreamlike, like silk.
