Good shot, I like these soft colors.
Was the guy's prayer answered? :)

Beautiful scenery, great light, good subject and nice and sharp. What more could we ask for?

Hope you enjoyed your time in Oz, I loved living there and miss it everyday. Byron was always one of my favourite places to visit, so many surfers and hippies, just my type of lifestyle.

    Thanks!

Marc, I hadn't been to Byron for about 10 years and have to admit I was a little disappointed with the changes. The heart of the place is still there and it's surrounding beauty, but the expansion has taken an inevitable toll. I saw one very average house on Lawson Road on sale for $4m. It's insane!

A great moment captured, all the elements come together perfectly and the sea mist is an added bonus.

Doesn't look like he's going to see much swell. But a great pose - and the background sets it off perfectly.

Re Byron Bay.. It's become the playground for the leveraged buyout set. Next thing to go will be the blues festival because it attracts too many of those "scruffy looking people".
If you think the houses are expensive, try buying the licence for the Bryon Bay Hotel, building not included :)
Glad you paid a visit Miles and look forward to the photographs.

I like how this one turned out. The surfer is nicely contrasted out of the rest of the image.
