And again a great shot! How do you get a sky like that Miles?
Great colors on a great find!
Great lights! I like it that big, so you can see all the colors and the size of the cart.
Thijs, I used a polarising filter on the lens to deepen the sky and in photoshop I used a duplicate layer blended with 'multiply' to create a vignette.
no doubt the polariser has worked wonders here. But what also makes this picture is that you have gone so close with a wide angle lens (it seems that way at least). It is always good for exaggerating perspective
this is one hell of a icecream truck! (oh, and i like this shot as well)
The curve from the lens fits the smooth curves of the truck.
Wonderful vibrant image - always something very nostalgic and appealing about an "ice cream truck". Great angle too, of course...
Great colors !
that is the most festive ice cream truck I've ever seen. :)
I love those colors! what I see is the bus is smiling~
Those colours are superb, love the shot.
when I saw this on flickr I mentioned something about "wishing it had a shallower DOF", think that was just down to the image size on the site! looks much better on here...
clouds could do with being a little whiter to finish it of tho!
Miles I love this it's a shot that everyone viewing can relate to, who hasn't chased one of these along street?
wow...stunning, love the vibrant colours they just pop! Phil
very well done. An example to me: how a good photographer can get a great picture from a simple subject. Bravo!!
That sky, the angle (oh, the angle), and that color...all summer perfection. So nicely done.
Very cool shot! I like the perspective on this!
Can you tell me any information about the ice cream truck? I have one almost like it and would love to talk with the owner.
Nice ultra wide angle perspective.
