A bench in the rain with the 50mm.
Update: A rather catastrophic hardware failure destroyed Mute's server this afternoon, just as we were moving to a new one. We're back up again, but I apologise for any comments that might not have been saved.

Miles I love this, it makes me think of those old movies, The Third man et al, love the feel to this and moreover it would not be half as good in colour..

With all the rain so many of us have been receiving, this well done shot reminds us not to stay inside and hide from it. Beautiful tones as well.

Everything looks better wet. Why is that? The dark tones in this photo come to life with the brilliance of the sheen that the water adds to the texture. Very nice, understated, and fresh.

great shot and a great use of rain! should inspire a few pepes moaning about the weather!
Love the DOF and post processing (hint of green really works with the wood ;)

I'm torn on this one, I can't choose the colour or b&w. Both stunning with a terrific use of depth. You gotta love the 50mm.

Great DOF and color tone. Actually, the color version is pretty interesting in it's own right. the Greens are very saturated and crisp. Both great shots!
