I know this looks a little odd because I focused on the steering wheel, but I like the softness with that shine.

did you clone out the license plate?

Yup :)
I like the softness on the shine too, but around the "P L Y" it's a little too distracting. Maybe a deeper depth of field? Still a fantastic shot. The color is great!
Works for me. The harsh colors work well in the image; make it seem like a scorcher of a day.
now that ... is a beautiful car.
Great idea with the focus on the steering wheel. It works. I just happened to get back from taking pictures of old cars myself!
Colors are amazing...Amazing idea to focus on the steering wheel only...I have to say it was a lil hard to observe unless you the note you left... And I agree with Kris a deeper DoF would be intersting to see!

The softness works for me I think it's perfect. I love the colors and the contrast. The vintage style of the image fits in perfecty with the subject.
oh yeah, now that's a cool car! :)
great work, interesting DOF, the colours are fantastic as is the contrast. Love the reflection in the bumper :) damn UK and its crappy cars:@
Beautiful car, beautiful shot!
I'm not really a big fan of cars -but that red is luscious.
Love it - I wanna visit cuba before all the 50's cars break down and become unusable - I wanna take some immages like this - but cars in britain are somehow not as iconic as the cars you have there in the US
Canada. Really nice.
