I like the angle, and the blue sky makes a great backdrop. I'm wondering what you did to the colors-- whatever it was, I like it.
This is my favorite distance from a car, but like most things, it looks easier than it is. My short experience with shooting old cars is its harder than it looks.
You don't post EXIF, but is this 17mm? I've been wanting to get a nice Nikon 17-55mm f2.8, but the darn thing is over $1,000!
