good shot, works very well
Your b&w's are always nice. Are you using a special filter? Please let me know.
great thoughtful shot.
Love that look!
Superb, amazing b&w potrait.
nice and clear shot. :)
is this another demo-shot? works great...
What a great look on his face you caught!
I'm constantly amazed but the great tonal range and detail you capture in B&W.
I wish I could take candid photos like you.
Another great shot, you surely do have a great eye for capturing these moment,
The light is amazing.
I love the glazed eyes
Good photo ! Did you use a zoom lense. I suppose you can not get this kind of expression if the person knows he/she is being photographed..
wow, really good portrait.. keeping it black and white really makes the image..
A world away, great moment, expression, and photograph. Nice work Miles.
There is almost a circle around this man in the background. Makes you want to know more about him being drawn right in like that.
so much soul and emotion.
nice portrait, it portrays a lot of character
Powerful image that draws you into the character, there is nothing else. I cannot help but want to know more about him.
I was listening to a Martin Bailey podcast in which he called shots like this Environmental Portraits. Not my favorite description but it is an interesting name for it.
Thanks everyone, this guy was at the anti-war protest and knew I was taking the shot, but seemed to be more interested in what was going on.
Tuffer, I think I'd call this a street portrait more than an environmental portrait. I always think of environmental portraits as being shots of people in their own environment, such as Paul's: http://eyeswideshut.my-expressions.com/archives/5458_1359344481/124599
Nice shot. Such great eyes.
