Beautiful sky and interesting silhouette gives it structure. Very nice.

I'm very amused by this effect. I love the colors and composition.

May I ask.. how did you do the postprocessing?

  • BigA

Thanks, it really does look better the bigger it is. What I like about it are all the small details.

The post processing was done by manipulating a couple of curves adjustment layers, changing the contrast and colours.

The beaches have never looked better (my favourite part of the city!). And thank you. I'm honoured to be your shot of the day.

Outstanding! It has an almost gothic feeels to it... and it gives an impression of a drawing more than a photograph. However, I like the look and feel of it.

Wow! I knew Toronto had a record breaking year in terms of winter, but I had no idea it got THIS hot!! ;) Cool shot, love the dream-like feel it has, which makes it quite timeless.

I love that little floating "island" out there, and I enjoy the "film" feeling to this photo.

this looks like it was processed as an HDR (high dynamic range) combo of multiple exposures.

    2006-03-24

  • miles

bc, it wasn't. The original shot was taken with a polariser which darkens the aky and saturates it. The rest was exposed normally.

Love the processing. So what are the 3 towers in the far background? Canada really seems to love its towers :)

Love love love, the greeny/ cyan colour. Is that added grain? Film? Good though.

Sure makes me wonder what the original looked like. Still, the end result is appealing.

The sky is wonderful, but all the ripples on the water is what I like the best.
