I especially like the middle shot on the right.

Beautiful shots, all of them. They really do need to be seen at the larger size, the small versions look way too soft!

Really nice work Miles. Love the tones.

Great subjectmatter...a true gem. And your b&w treatment is right on. I especially like the middle shot in the first column...it takes on an anthropomorphic quality, like an old face. Great stuff.

They're good in larger size of course, but put together they make a great series. The middle two and top right photos almost look like models; probably from the shallower DOF.

Fantastic series. I LOVE old cars and trucks and this speaks to it. The edit is great too.

I love these six pictures, especially all together. B&W was the medium to go with, too. Old vehicles make great subjects.

i really like the camera angles and the choice of b&w. intristingly enough i have the same subject as my today's post :)

(fyi...i am using firefox on the mac, and the 3rd row of your photos are overlapping with the comment section of your blog.)

Great montage Miles. The B&W tones really do it for me here and good angles for the selective shots. This subject never gets old for me. You would think in Brooklyn, N.Y. I could find one of the clunkers to photograph?!?!

Really nice panel of shots. Tells the story of the age of the car. Nicely done.

Great set. I always browse through your stuff when sitting in the lab, teachers and students always ask "hey who shot that?" expecting someone really famous.

And a huge thanks for the shot of the day link...that generated more traffic than I've had in the last 2 months! makes me sad most of my content is crummy and I dont have anything new at the moment.

It's amazing how you made this simple car look beatiful. Your B&W treatment is very well done. This works very well as a series. I think that individual shots would not carry as much impact as seing a set together like this.

What a fab series....black and white works so well, you have contrast just right as well as great lighting. First class.

A beautiful way of showing a wrecked truck. I really enjoy the second on the right. The ambiguity of the shot is great. But all the shots work very nicely together.
