This is one of my favorite from the "Tree" serie that you've posted. The b&w work very well giving a nostalgic feeling to the composition. I believe that the color version work also really well.
Amazing shot. I agree with "nuno f" ... this is one of the coolest tree shots I've seen lately. The black and white really adds to the shot. The detail is nice too. Great shot.
On a side note, thanks for making my money picture, your photo of the day. I really appreciate it!
I absolutely love your photos. They all have this great dramatic look to them. Do you do a lot of post processing to bring out these effects? I'd love to know how you get them looking so damn amazing!
Your recent tree landscapes are amazing! You definitely have an eye for this stuff. The contrast in this shot is simply amazing...just perfect! Wonderful composition as well. Man, I wish I could shoot like this!

Those are some amazingly dramatic clouds. Is this a combination of filters or some post processing magic?

I agree with nuno f, this is one of my favorites that you have posted of the tree. Good tones in the clouds and the field.

You've been blessed with some dramatic clouds! Around here all we get is sunshine all of the time ;-(
I assume the darkening on the clouds was all in post? The "tree of light" effect works for me.

Quite like how the clouds are all dark around the tree, but there is a break above it.
But my curiosity wants to know, what is that under the tree?

I have a tree I always come back to. I have never gotten a good picture of it or one I could work with, but I still keep going back! Nice job.
