What a corker. (which is a positive comment by the way) This is great beautiful big sky and the lines in the field leading you into the frame the old tree the deatail on the horizon. The blurry edges to the frame make it more special. One of the best I have seen in ages. Really like it. Made my morning.
I like it, it's a great image with good composition, great sky etc. but I disagree with other's comments, I'm not sure about the blurring... I think it detracts from the beauty rather than enhances like many of your others. Can you post a version without the blurring?
Holy smokes. This is a stunner.
I've been a bit out of the loop for the past week. No time to check blogs...So thrilled to check in and see this one.
Most excellent, Miles.
Woah, funky dof. Makes for a wonderful shot. It's been a while since I've been on the net checking out photoblogs but I see that yours hasn't slipped in the slightest. Nice.
Miles, I've been trawling through your recent postings and haven't had time to comment on all of them, but there's some seriously wonderful stuff up here; consistently great. Well done!

One of my favorites from you. The blur, the way the lines guide our look to the tree... everything is well balanced.

I really really really love your use of the lens blur effect. The landscape is beautiful either way, but the toyification mutes that tree right up.
