What a corker. (which is a positive comment by the way) This is great beautiful big sky and the lines in the field leading you into the frame the old tree the deatail on the horizon. The blurry edges to the frame make it more special. One of the best I have seen in ages. Really like it. Made my morning.
Beatiful. Like the false depth of field effect here.
Wonderful tones and an almost shift lens like feel to the depth of field. Thanks.
This is just gorgeous. Astonishing. You're the king of DoF. And the color... rocks. One of my faves!
Nice processing on a great shot.
Incredible shot (as usual). I shall definitely have to try this effect one day. Thanks for the inspiration.
The selective focus on this photo makes the scene look so big. Well done.
Beautiful photo. As many have commented, the DoF really makes this photo amazing. Well, not to mention the great composition and colours.... ;)
This is really beautiful.
it seems that there is not much distance between the ground and the sky. very beautiful photograph.
love the heavy saturation here, just gorgeous!
Lovely colour, beautiful skies, great focal point and DOF, everything you need for a cracking shot. Excellent! - [Chuks]
Beautiful photography. I love the colours, it's so serene.
stunning photo...DOF, colours, composition, all perfect. niiiice.
this has it all - great sky, great lines leading into the focal point of the off centre tree... just excellent :)
whoa! wonderful! I love how the focal point goes right to that tree!!!
One of my favorites from you. The blur, the way the lines guide our look to the tree... everything is well balanced.
Beautiful. I love that the yellow lines in the field stand out so well. The selective focus looks great here also.
This is really great - the blur/DOF makes it.
its a perfect poster material.
I like it, it's a great image with good composition, great sky etc. but I disagree with other's comments, I'm not sure about the blurring... I think it detracts from the beauty rather than enhances like many of your others. Can you post a version without the blurring?
I looked at this shot and was riveted.
this is a great photograph.
god damn... This is just too good.
Cool for the most part, but too much yellow in the field
kickarse. love the larger version too - esp. the added title
Neat effect with the false DOF. Has a very surreal feel to it!
your photos continue to amaze me.
wow, this shot is amazing. Did you made a postprocessing?
Jiminy Crickets! Gorgeous. Want tutorial.
Holy smokes. This is a stunner.
I've been a bit out of the loop for the past week. No time to check blogs...So thrilled to check in and see this one.
Most excellent, Miles.
I really really really love your use of the lens blur effect. The landscape is beautiful either way, but the toyification mutes that tree right up.
wow great one !!!
I have it on my desktop now, absolutely beautiful!
Woah, funky dof. Makes for a wonderful shot. It's been a while since I've been on the net checking out photoblogs but I see that yours hasn't slipped in the slightest. Nice.
Amazing color, really loving this shot.
WOW, brilliant shot!
Miles, I've been trawling through your recent postings and haven't had time to comment on all of them, but there's some seriously wonderful stuff up here; consistently great. Well done!
Awesome shot. The range of colours in this is just beyond words
Great picture. Good work on the PP. The position on the tree is a perfect addition to the picture and The sky look on 3D!
Great shot of that tree! Congrats on best of 2005 from one noteworthy to another! just lovin the dof in this shot ;)
