You make this thing seem like it's living. Man I love the punch of the colors and lights. The sky makes the whole thing pop right off the screen, great dimension. Really wicked work, as always.

These series of photos should strike fear into those who might dare ride. They give the machine an ominous character.. that the machine might strike out against any who should tread upon it.

Haha, why does your info say you don't use photoshop on your images? That is obviously what Canadians call "BULLSHIT"

    2005-09-20

  • miles

It doesn't, it says I *do* use photoshop. Perhaps you should read it again.

You posted a similar comment on the image at the end of last month where you copied the information from my 'about' page saying that I *do*.

I've mentioned numerous times in these comments the techniques I use to post process the images.

another post about photoshop again. what's the problem with that?
If people can't read a sentence, you don't need to explain it every time..
I think 77117 comment is the "BULLSHIT"(sic) here. Hahaż?

I love the colours in this photo. The eery sky and the lights on the ride is a nice combination. The composition is good as well.

Atmospherically outstanding. I love how the sky would fit well in one of those gothic paintings on the crown of the swings. Very beautiful.

    2005-09-20

  • Andy

Freakin' incredible. For some reason, those painted landscapes on the top of the ride make it extra creepy. I like the fact that it's standing still too.

  • armeen

looks magical! do you use filters?

    2005-09-21

  • miles

I use a polarising filter to help with the sky but a lot of the 'darkness' you see here is brought out through photoshop curve manipulation.

Not only do I agree with everyone on your gorgeous colours, I very much like how the sky reflects the nature of the ride and it's Eye of the Hurricane feel.
