Great composition. The sky rocks, though it feels a touch soft compared to the building. Mebbe just me. But that's hardly a knock on this dramatic photo.
This reminds me of that movie where they have this building that agitates the sky before they can travel back in time........ wicked shot!

Thanks all, this building has appeared in a lot of films, most recently someone dropped a nuke on it in 'resident evil', so it quite possibly might be Dav'd.
Alec, I deliberately blurred the sky, I like the textural contrast :)
Miles - great contrast in this shot and good composition with the curves of the buidling and the clouds. It's also a very interesting building. Good stuff!
Thanks again everyone, it can be a little frustrating post vertical shots like this because I don't want to post them too large and have people have to scroll. I have posted a larger version for those with bigger resolutions, http://mute.rigent.com/other/cityhall_large.jpg
not too sure i like the composition, the buildings don't seem to have any foundation to them, but that sky is terrific! from an abstract standpoint, the buildings do resemble the curved shape that means 'hurricane' on weather maps so that's interesting.

For such an overphotographed building, I like this quite a bit. The contrast is really striking.

You've got some funky looking buildings in Toronto. There are some neat patterns in the windows. Framed up nicely and the cloud effect is great.
