I am always impressed by your simple compositions. In this one, I really love the saturation of the colors. Did you use a porlarization filter? Do you mostly shoot with a filter?

Hey man, thanks, I do use a polarising lens a lot, I will tweak in PS of course but I prefer to get the real thing and a polarising lens is great for that.
I recently realised that I've been trying to create medium format photography with digital and 35mm, so I've started my collection of MF equipment with the holga and a recently aquired yashica mat. I think I'm getting closer to my 'style'.
I don't know what it is that I like so much about this.. It's simple, a little off-kilter, the blurred background is a perfect contrast to the red box. At first the little patch of in-focus grass at the bottom bothered me but the more I look at it the more I like it. It's a peculiar shot but rather interesting.
