Looks like the BDSM meeting was canceled for that day. :) I like the detail on the chain on the left side of the image.

i like the dreamy quality to it very much. the blurriness, the burst of light at the top right hand corner, the vignetting all contribute to that feeling.

That is some great depth of field. It almost feels like a dream; something surreal. A great choice in making it black and white. Great perspective and composition as well. Nice job!

Thanks, I can't take credit for the depth of field though, that's down to the remarkably unpredictable properties of the holga's plastic lens :)

This is very cool, although I don't think I would want to be in that garage alone. Looks too scary ;-)

Your holga is whack! It's sharp on the left, and blurry on the right. What did you do? Put it in the oven?

    It's a keeper...

Great picture! You should've taken your tripod and chained yourself to that wall:)

I wonder, how did you manage to get that DOF. Left side..chain is very sharp..doors..so and so, and the car is all blurry. Really pro :)

mario: it's really the nature of the camera, the holga is a very cheap plastic camera that shoots on medium format. The results are often wildly unpredictable and the plastic lens seems to have a mind of its own! The blurriness on the right is as much to do with a smudge or anomoly on the lens as DoF!

Polly: Thanks for the suggestion! Maybe if I wasn't alone in a creepy downtown garage I would have! Any other suggests about chaining myself to anything can be addressed to my private email... ;)
