Three paintings

2004-07-22: Taken at the National Gallery in Ottawa this is something of a botched image. In the original photograph there was a second person standing in front of the middle painting and I attempted to remove them in photoshop, just to see if I could. The results speak for themselves I think!

    I wouldn't have noticed it until you said it. But if you look at it closely, the girl's shadow just stops, so that kind of gives it away.

    Thanks, I guess I've looked at it more than anyone else and I notice all the 'bodges', the floorboards are all messed up where the shadow ends and the middle picture is just a copy of the end one!

    You're drawn to what she's looking at, not the floor she's standing on. That's why I didn't notice at first.

    yeah, I think that's true. I do like this composition which is why it's here, she has the perfect figure for the composition.
